April Sarcoidosis Awareness Month 2026 - See Sarcoidosis

Jill Williams

In Honor of Barbara Jean Tomalavage

Welcome, and thank you so much for being here and supporting something that means so much to me.

This April, I’m raising funds for the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research in honor of my mom. She lived with sarcoidosis for over 30 years, and watching her navigate this disease with so much strength and grace shaped me in ways I’ll carry forever. This is deeply personal — every dollar raised is in her memory and for others still fighting.

As part of this effort, I hosted a donation-based barre class centered around movement and awareness — something that felt especially meaningful. Movement is something many living with sarcoidosis struggle with, so being able to come together, move with intention, and raise awareness in her honor meant everything to me.

Sarcoidosis is a disease many people have never heard of, yet it affects thousands of individuals and families. It can impact multiple organs and is often misunderstood or goes undiagnosed. That’s why this mission matters so much — to bring awareness, support patients, and fund research that moves us closer to better treatments and, one day, a cure.

If you feel called to support, here are a few ways you can help:
• Donate if you’re able — truly, no amount is too small
• Share this page to help spread awareness

Every bit of support means more than I can put into words. You’re not just donating — you’re helping honor my mom, bring hope to others, and create real change.

Thank you for being part of this with me. 💜

Jill
