Thank you for visiting my page!

Sarcoidosis is a rare, often chronic inflammatory disorder that causes the formation of granulomas, or clumps of inflammatory cells. This can occur in almost any organ in the body, most commonly affecting the lungs, lymph nodes, skin and eyes. While this disease affects as many as 200,000 Americans, there is currently no known cure and treatment options are limited and often ineffective.

I have chosen to support the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR) by fundraising for Michael Rosado.

Michael was diagnosed at the age of 4 years old with sarcoidosis. Sarcoidosis is an auto immune disease that can affect multiple organs in the body. In Michael’s case it has affected his eyes, skin and bones and is painful for him at times. Michael is doing great and his sarcoid is being managed. It is important to constantly educate Michael on this life long battle. In doing so, Michael and his parents thought it would be great if we could do it together. April is sarcoidosis awareness month and Michael decided to name it “Not fast, Just furious”. Hoping everyone could participate by donating to the cause, wearing purple for sarcoid and posting your pic in support of Michael. Share it on your FB and Instagram #stopsarcoidosis #sarcoidwarrior #ShowYourPurple.
We think it’s important and want it to be fun. Michael's parents are not on social media so please send me your pictures to rosariocrln@hotmail or Instagram @rosariocrln

Please consider helping me reach my goal. Together, we can Stop Sarcoidosis!

KISS stands for Kick In to Stop Sarcoidosis, and that’s what you'll be doing by supporting my page. FSR is the leading nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure for this disease and improving care and treatment options for sarcoidosis patients. The funds all go directly to FSR and their programs for improving patient education, supporting patients and their caretakers, and of course, funding research to find better treatment options and one day, a cure.
