To raise awareness during April’s Sarcoidosis Awareness Month, Team Reed/benton have joined the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research and Steps for Sarc to #MakeItVisible! All month long, Team Reed/benton will be taking the steps to make sarcoidosis visible and help support FSR’s mission – stop sarcoidosis. We need you to join us because, too often, our community gets asked “What is sarcoidosis” and too many people can’t even pronounce the word. Sarcoidosis does not get the representation it deserves – now is the time to change that! By making #MakeItVisible go viral, more people hear about sarcoidosis, learn about how it impacts our community, and understand the need for better treatments and a cure.
During April’s Sarcoidosis Awareness Month, Team Reed/benton 's goal is to complete 1,750,000 steps in honor of the approximately 175,000 individuals living with sarcoidosis in the U.S. and join together with all participating in Steps for Sarc to reach 61,250,000 step goal.
Additionally, Team Reed/benton wants to raise $1,750 to show support for the sarcoidosis community and contribute to sarcoidosis research and patient support efforts. Let’s contribute to improving the lives of those with sarcoidosis by helping FSR achieve its goal to raise $61,250.
By joining Team Reed/benton in Steps for Sarc, you will be able to #MakeItVisible and contribute to the progress made towards FSR’s research agenda, groundbreaking sarcoidosis research projects, as well as FSR’s comprehensive Patient Education and Resource Programs. The sarcoidosis community and I greatly appreciate your generosity and support!
Team Reed/benton hopes you will join us this month and help us achieve our goals by:
