Joe’s Sarcoid Sucks Team #MakeItVisible

To raise awareness during April’s Sarcoidosis Awareness Month, I have joined the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research and Steps for Sarc to #MakeItVisible!
As some may or may not know I’ve been a SarcFighter for over 20 years. What’s does that mean? I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis over 20 years ago and have been fighting the effects and side efforts of this autoimmune disease and treatment.

All month long, I will be taking the steps to make sarcoidosis visible and help support FSR’s mission – stop sarcoidosis. We need you to join us because, too often, our community gets asked “What is sarcoidosis” and too many people can’t even pronounce the word. Sarcoidosis does not get the representation it deserves – now is the time to change that! By making #MakeItVisible go viral, more people hear about sarcoidosis, learn about how it impacts our community, and understand the need for better treatments and a cure.

During April’s Sarcoidosis Awareness Month, my goal is to raise awareness of this autoimmune disease and complete as many steps as I can every day to join the rally.

By joining me in Steps for Sarc, you will be able to #MakeItVisible and contribute to the progress made towards FSR’s research agenda, groundbreaking sarcoidosis research projects, as well as FSR’s comprehensive Patient Education and Resource Programs. The sarcoidosis community and I greatly appreciate your generosity and support!

I hope you will join me this month and help me achieve my goals by:

1.       Making a donation to my fundraising page

2.       Joining the Steps for Sarc challenge and so together we can #MakeItVisible

3.       Sharing this page link with your friends and family on social media to help raise awareness and make sarcoidosis visible

4.       Joining the social media campaign by posting a black and white photo and sharing “I am living with #Sarcoidosis”, “I support someone living with #Sarcoidosis”, or “I honor someone who was impacted by #Sarcoidosis”.

Together, we can make sarcoidosis visible and stop sarcoidosis!

Thank you!
