There are approximately 1.2 million people worldwide who wake up each day and face the challenges of living with a rare disease including the symptoms and side effects like overwhelming fatigue, trouble breathing, chest pain, headaches, joint pain, skin lesions and rashes, an overall feeling of sickness, along with other physical and mental symptoms that patients experience living with sarcoidosis.  

This April, the sarcoidosis community is taking a stand and Standing up for Sarc! The sarcoidosis community will be raising awareness by Standing up for Sarc all month long in ways that will help increase understanding of the disease, accelerate research, and support those living with the physical and mental effects sarcoidosis can have on so many people from all over the world. 

The Team Mary's - Stand Up for Sarc - Fundraiser 2023 has taken the pledge for Sarcoidosis Awareness Month and will be Standing up for Sarc by joining the Steps for Sarc!  

We hope you will join us this month to help achieve our goals by:
