It's 2023 and what a year it has been. It is a new year and we are ready! My challenge is for each donation up to the total of $500 Betsy and I will match during the next ten days.

Let's get going on our fund raiser. The sarcoidosis community is taking Steps to Stand Up for Sarc! Throughout the month, we will be taking steps to Stand up for Sarc and we need you to join us! The sarcoidosis community is dedicated to YOU - all those who have been impacted by sarcoidosis and, by standing up for sarc, you will be helping shape the future for more support, better therapies, and one day, a cure. There are approximately 1.2 million people worldwide who wake up each day and face the challenges of living with a rare disease including the symptoms and side effects like overwhelming fatigue, trouble breathing, chest pain, headaches, joint pain, skin lesions and rashes, an overall feeling of sickness, along with other physical and mental symptoms that patients experience living with sarcoidosis.
  
This April, the sarcoidosis community is taking a stand and Standing up for Sarc! The sarcoidosis community will be raising awareness by Standing up for Sarc all month long in ways that will help increase understanding of the disease, accelerate research, and support those living with the physical and mental effects sarcoidosis can have on so many people from all over the world. 

I have taken the pledge for Sarcoidosis Awareness Month and will be Standing up for Sarc by joining Steps for Sarc!
