Rodney Reese
On September 25, 2021, we learned Rodney Reese passed away from COVID-19. Rodney was a dear member of the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research community, Patient Advocate, and community leader in New Orleans. Rodney was a husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather. He was also a friend, mentor, and champion to everyone who knew him.
No matter what Rodney did, he was making an impact. Through his robust support group and awareness work in Louisiana, his contributions to research, and his mentorship to up and coming Patient Advocates (formerly Ambassadors), Rodney’s legacy of contribution has had a ripple effect which will be felt for decades to come.
In lieu of flowers, Rodney's wife, Harriet, and family ask you to consider a donation to honor Rodney's legacy to raise awareness for sarcoidosis and help drive sarcoidosis research. Through your generous donations, FSR will be able to build on Rodney's efforts to improve the lives of those living with sarcoidosis.
