Cardiac Sarcoidosis is a rare, often chronic inflammatory disorder that causes the formation of granulomas, or clumps of inflammatory cells. Roughly 35,000 Americans have Cardiac Sarcoidosis. There is currently no known cure and treatment options are limited and often ineffective.
My fight against Cardiac Sarcoidosis has been scary, liberating, tiring, motivating, and educational. Through this six year journey, there have been two constants. First, the support I have received from my loving family, steadfast friends and coworkers, and very smart medical team. Second, the therapeutic, calming, and motivating force that comes from cycling.
I am looking to try something new with Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR) Team KISS! KISS stands for Kick In to Stop Sarcoidosis, and that’s what you'll be doing by supporting my page. Our motto is "Big rides, bigger mission." We ride long distances to raise money for patients who have to travel long distances to get treatment for sarcoidosis.
From June 7 through 12, 2026, I will be riding 335 miles from Pittsburgh PA to Washington DC on the Great Alleghany Passage and C&O Trails. Learn more here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PMs26CRaKZHCSZBgs6g4HhRh0TgNHoQY/view?usp=drive_link
Please consider donating to our cause.
The funds all go directly to FSR and their programs for improving patient education, supporting patients and their caretakers, and of course, funding research to find better treatment options and one day, a cure.
Please consider helping me reach my goal. Together, we can Stop Sarcoidosis!
Embrace the grind!
