Chicago Area Walk in the Park for Sarc

Saturday, April 28th- 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
Come join us as we walk in support of sarcoidosis patients, create awareness about this disease and raise funds for research!
Sarcoidosis is a debilitating disease that originates in the immune system and can impact any organ in the body. There currently is no cure for this disease and because it is classified as a "rare" disease, this receives little to no research funding from government or pharma companies. Thus, the majority of research comes from funding of private sector, non-profit organizations like the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research. Without the help of individual donations, development of new treatments for this disease would be impossible. Please consider joining us on our "Walk in the Park for Sarc". If you are unable to join us in person, please join us as one of our virtual participants!
The walk will be a scenic, 1 mile walk around the lake. The path around the lake is wheelchair friendly. In addition, there will be a 2.5 mile walk for those looking for a longer stroll. Following the event, participants are welcome to join us for a barbecue to enjoy spending time with family and friends! Kids are welcome and can join in the fun for FREE.
