Help Us Put An End To Sarcoidosis!
Lesley Baxter
Lesley Baxter
On April 22, Team Baxter will be heading to Nashville to walk in FSR’s annual Kick in to Stop Sarcoidosis 5K! The Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research is the nation’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for this disease and improving care for sarcoidosis patients.
As you all might know, in 2010, Brian was diagnosed with cardiac sarcoidosis which caused havoc on his body. It was a whirlwind few years, as the sarcoid caused scarring on the wall of his heart which led to structural, functional, and electrical problems. We are so lucky and blessed to have such a strong medical team, as well as overwhelming family & friend support. Brian has occasional hiccups along the way, but he is overall feeling strong, healthy and in control.
Lesley has been lucky enough to work with FSR for several years, and in that time has realized that there is so much work to be done in finding a cure to eradicate this disease once and for all!
We are asking for your generosity and continued support for Brian and his family, as well as all patients who have been affected by sarcoidosis. Thanks so much!
Go Team Baxter! XOXO
