    I have been living the life of multi-organ system sarcoidosis since 2011. Unfortunately, I am not one of those people that go into remission in 2-5 years. I still have active disease and it has been devastating. I haven’t been able to work in over a decade and it’s heartbreaking. I worked very hard for a long time to achieve both my academic success as well as my professional success, And yet, I’m not able to use either. I am grateful to everyone who donates anything or even passes along the need for awareness and research. I’m also grateful for the kindness and generosity of the donor who is matching donations.
