I am excited to have been selected as one of the Team Rally for Sarc runners to represent the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR) at the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon on November 1st, 2026!

I am running in honor of my uncle, Alvin Kilgore, who passed away from sarcoidosis in September 2025. His faith, resilience, and love for his family left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Through this journey, I have the opportunity to honor his legacy while helping raise awareness and support for those affected by this disease.

Sarcoidosis affects approximately 1.2 million people worldwide, yet many people have never heard of it. The Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research is the leading organization dedicated to finding a cure, advancing research, improving patient care, and supporting those living with the disease.

For me, running has become a powerful reminder of perseverance, faith, and the strength God provides through every challenge. As a wife, mother, Army veteran, CrossFit athlete, and first-time marathoner, I understand that growth often comes through difficult seasons. Every training run is an opportunity to push forward with purpose and gratitude.

If you feel led to support this mission, I would be grateful for your donation. Every contribution will help fund research, education, patient support, and bring us one step closer to better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

Thank you!
