Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research's Team Rally for Sarc Fundraising Page

Jasmine Snead

Jasmine Snead

Welcome!

If you know me, you know when I commit to something, I give it everything I've got. On November 1, 2026, I'll be taking on the biggest challenge of my life and running my first EVER marathon at the New York City Marathon as a member of Team Rally for Sarc!

I'm running for my mom. I'm running for my sister. I'm running for every family whose life has been changed by sarcoidosis.

For more than 10 years, I've been my mom's caregiver and advocate as she's battled pulmonary and neurosarcoidosis. I've seen the doctor's appointments, hospital stays, setbacks, victories, and everything in between. My sister has also fought this disease as it has affected her lungs, liver, heart, and lymph nodes. Watching both of them face sarcoidosis with courage has changed my life.

What makes our story even more personal is that my mom (now retired) and my sister have spent their careers as hairstylists—women who have dedicated their lives to helping others feel beautiful while quietly carrying challenges of their own.

Every training run and every mile I complete in New York will be for them.

I'm raising funds for the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research to help increase awareness, support patients and families, and invest in the research that will one day lead us to better treatments and hopefully, a cure.

If you can give, thank you. If you can share my page, thank you. If you can simply cheer me on, thank you.

Every act of support means the world to me, and I'm so grateful you're here to be part of this journey.

With love,

Jas
