Help me Rally for Sarc!

David Stein, Esq.

David Stein, Esq.

Hi, I’m David Stein, a real estate attorney and lender specializing in large transactions. A few years ago, I took up running, and it’s been life-changing—boosting my health, focus, and connection to an amazing community. Some of my closest bonds, including with my uncle and brother-in-law, have been strengthened through races we've run together.

This year, I’ll be running my fourth marathon—the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon on November 2, 2025—as part of Team Rally for Sarc, supporting the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR). I’m honored to help raise awareness for sarcoidosis, a rare and often overlooked disease that affects over 200,000 people in the U.S. alone.

Sarcoidosis can cause debilitating symptoms like fatigue, chest pain, joint pain, and difficulty breathing. There’s no known cause and limited treatment options, which is why support and research are so critical. We all know someone whose quality of life has been deeply affected by a chronic illness. Conditions, like sarcoidosis, don’t always get the attention they deserve—yet they profoundly impact those living with them. Illness can be isolating, but events like this remind us that no one has to face these challenges alone. Through running, I hope to make a visible, powerful statement of support for those fighting invisible battles.

FSR is the leading organization dedicated to finding a cure and improving patient care. Since 2000, they’ve funded over $8 million in sarcoidosis research and continue to provide vital education and support.

I invite you to support Team Rally for Sarc by donating to my fundraising page. Every contribution—big or small—helps advance research, raise awareness, and bring hope to those fighting this invisible battle.

Thank you for your support!
