Pat's NYC Marathon fundraiser to support the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research
My dad has been battling pulmonary sarcoidosis, a chronic and debilitating lung disease that has affected every aspect of his life. To honor his resilience and strength, I am taking on the challenge of running the New York City Marathon. But I need your help!
On November 5th, I will be lacing up my running shoes and taking on the 26.2-mile journey through the streets of NYC. As I train for the race, I am seeking your support to raise funds for an incredibly worthy cause—pulmonary sarcoidosis research.
Pulmonary sarcoidosis is an inflammatory condition that primarily affects the lungs, causing severe breathing difficulties. It has forced my dad to rely on supplemental oxygen to support his respiration and has significantly impacted his day-to-day life. But his positive spirit and determination have never wavered.
By contributing to this fundraising campaign, you will directly impact the lives of those living with pulmonary sarcoidosis, including my dad. The funds raised will be allocated towards research, medical advancements, and crucial support programs aimed at improving the quality of life for individuals affected by this disease.
Your generosity and support will mean the world to us, as well as countless others grappling with the challenges of pulmonary sarcoidosis. Every donation, no matter the amount, will bring us one step closer to finding a cure and providing better care for patients. Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by this debilitating disease.
